Amazon Lying about delivery

  • Items show as delivered when they aren't quite often. Amazon are usually quite easy to deal with in that situation.
Sometimes their drivers have to fulfil a quota in a day and so they will mark some items as delivered and then get round to delivering them later. That's why they've asked you to wait.
Yes, they are easy up to the point. After blatantly failing to deliver a number of goods to my address (and they all have shown as "handed to resident" etc) and multiple refunds, with all that 2 day waiting period and so on, their solution was....to close my account. No internal investigations and just that I "claimed too may refunds".

Well, fancy that, demanding refunds for goods that have never arrived! What a cheek!

Still, why would I want an account with an organisation who are just incapable of making a delivery? Might as well order elsewhere, and often cheaper, and actually get the goods.

    Sorry its been a while.
After hitting twitter i was sent a link so it could be Err "Investigated"  Hmmm
Even in the e mail they claimed it had been delivered and to check with neighbours  at that point i got annoyed with them.
    Hi Alex,
Seriously Which part of the parcel HAS NOT been delivered and there is nothing on my cctv showing anyone near my house or and cars or people on the street between 8PM and 11PM

The street is an off road track so is very private

Amazon have clearly lied and I resent this e mail and your suggestions as in all my social media post’s I have stated I have checked my CCTV and the fact Amazon state they have handed the parcel to me is a clear lie.

I can provide all the CCTV for the 20th June if you wish as I do not have anything to hide.

    their reply

We take full responsibility if any item becomes lost during delivery and we'll be happy to replace or refund if your order doesn't arrive.

We ask that you wait until 23 June 2020 to give time for the delivery station to investigate the delivery if it was marked "delivered" in error or delivered to an unknown neighbour.

If you haven't received it by 23 June 2020, please visit ‘Your Orders’ in Your Account or click https://www.amazon.co.uk/your-orders for replace or refund options.

We appreciate your patience during this time

I reordered on the 23th and now being told,

We'll e-mail you when we have a delivery date

We'll dispatch your order as soon as possible.

This usually happens when an item doesn't have a release date, it's pre-ordered, or it's out of stock.

Hi everyone the item has finally arrived to today a week late!!
The weird bit is they have put two of the same item in the parcel, I only ordered one though so just emailed them to let them know.
