Amazon Lying about delivery

Amazon Claiming they have hand delivered my parcel to me @ 20.50 on 20th June THIS IS A LIE!!!
I have CCTV showing no one near my house. Plus amazon now claiming the update was too soon See screen shots
What if someone didn’t have cctv and couldn’t fight a non-delivery?
Sorry about the size of the photos not sure how to resize.

Amazon's reply on Facebook
Amazon.com We're sorry you haven't received your parcel as expected. In rare cases, packages can be mistakenly marked as 'delivered' 48 hours prior to arrival. Please be assured that we'll deliver your parcel as soon as possible, do let us know if you haven't received by Tuesday. We appreciate your patience!
My reply
Your asking people to contact the carrier on the web site. WHY the contract is with you and NOT the carrier so your responsibility to sort out!
No explanation on why this happens thus leaving vulnerable people worrying unnecessarily.
Amazon.com you need to up your gain and stop this happening in the 1st place. Having to hit social media to sort this mess out is a joke.

One reason is bad phone signal near your place so they mark as delivered if they are familier with the area before coming.I have had a deliver driver drive off becuuase he could not mark as delivered and come back after marking it as such elsewhere. So it seemss they are more concerned that way.0

From this you then jumped to Facebook and here?
The carrier is Amazon,so who do you think you are contacting?
So for the bigger picture. During lockdown parcel companies have been swamped. I know for a fact Amazon have shunted a lad of traffic to Royal Mail via Special Delivery that they would normally carry themselves.
They do this when they cant cope with the volumes/meet timescales.

You need to give it to end of play on 23rd June before you start kicking up a stink. Instead you have gone straight into harassing every mode of contact possibles remember we are in a crisis at the moment. Patience is needed.0

Items show as delivered when they aren't quite often. Amazon are usually quite easy to deal with in that situation.
Sometimes their drivers have to fulfil a quota in a day and so they will mark some items as delivered and then get round to delivering them later. That's why they've asked you to wait.

You're talking to a robot that is auto-answering your questions - note it's the messaging assistant, Amazon uses artificial intelligence to reply to many initial enquiries - then only moves to a human if it's not resolved. It will be using on-file data to give you your answers. If you need to discuss specifics you need to type that you want to speak to an operator. It's likely that there was a blip in the system which meant your parcel shows as delivered - they'll be able to resolve it, don't worry. Wait until the end of the 23rd as outlined, and it's likely your parcel will turn up. If not, go back and have another conversation. Things do go wrong sometimes, and with the volumes these delivery drivers are coping with, some mistakes do get made. Have a little patience and it should sort itself out without you needing to jump up and down complaining.1

"The parcel was handed to me"

"The parcel was handed to me"You have been advised to wait until 23rd and remember Amazon deliver up until around 9pm ish so you need to give it all day to see if it arrives. If not then get back in touch with them and explain.0 -

"The parcel was handed to me"Yes, and?You think the software has an option of will deliver later?Anyone who orders from amazon has has that default status many times when it is not true. Yes maybe they could update it to "default delivered status" but that would consufe people too.Once I got it when I was out and the driver popped it though the open door at the back which I forgot to close. There software is clearly poor. This is why I will not select a safe place to leave things as it is a list rather than free text. You are just overthinking things. I have never has an issue regardless of odd delivery status's. However if amazon get's you this worked up avoid hermes at all costs.
