Leeds Building Society

I have Leeds Isa (fixed rate) matures 1st July 2020, phoned 19th June to reinvest Isa fixed rate for 1 year. They advertise for 1 YEAR a rate of 0.60%.  Answered security questions and requested the 1 year Isa as above then finally was told it would mature on the 1st August 2021  1 year???  I queried this and was told that in the month of July I can add to the Isa, I said I would not be doing so.  How can Leeds advertise a 1 year Isa and during converstion it turns into 13 months!    I don't know if interest is paid for July.  I just feel this is sneaky.
