Insolvency Service Application

Hi all
I would like some help in replying to this letter from the Insolvency Service
Some information for this Application to the Insolvency Service was that the company a family member worked for was closed due to Covid-19 for quite a while, they were paid under the furlough scheme but the company couldnt find a buyer so the company went into bankruptcy.
The staff was told they could apply for Insolvency Service.
The family member has worked in this company for over 20 years, initially is was at a part time basis for about 2 years then they switched to full time for about 15 of the years and then back to part time for the remaining years 3 years.
The weekly wages cost The Insolvency Service have used seems to be on the part time wages only, i would like to let them know i was working full time for 15 years and feel they have not taken this into consideration.
What proof should i attach when replying to this letter ?
Thank you in advance.

    The website says;

    11. What to do if you think your payment is wrong

    We can only review your payment if you provide evidence to show it is incorrect. This could be a copy of your employment contract or a note from the insolvency practitioner.

    If you think your payment is wrong, please first contact the insolvency practitioner directly to check the information they provided about your claim.

    If you have evidence to show the information we used was wrong, please email it to us. We will reassess your claim within 6 weeks of receiving your email.

    Use our amendment forms if you think you made a mistake or want to add information to your claim.

    Please use the email address that you provided during your application. If you use another email address, we will need to verify your identity which may cause delays.

    Have you got in touch with the Insolvency Practitioner (the administrator). You should have a letter from them. Did they have the correct records about changing from full to part time? Evidence; your initial full time Contract (full time). You then need to demonstrate when this changed to part time e.g. a letter from work, a new Contract, a variation of contract, or possibly even as a last resort pay slips showing differing hours would all be evidence.

    You could also try contacting ACAS for advice. Good luck.

    They have not taken your full time into consideration as redundancy pay is based on your current salary. It does not matter how many years you worked full time or part time. You are now part time so that is now your salary.

    If you hours are variable your average weekly pay is usually calculated as an average of the last 12 weeks.
