Personally I'd go for the Creative Zen Ringo mentioned, it also includes an FM radio. If she wants a fashion accessory get an ipod, if she wants a really good MP3 player get the Creative Zen.
Much as I like DS Lites I wouldn't use one as an MP3 player. It would also come in a fair bit above £100. Also they're in very short supply again this Christmas.It's my problem, it's my problem
