Does that mean that every dealer's basic price is the same?
That's the published list price from Renault UK, and applies to every UK dealer.

Dealers may, of course, offer discounts from that.

When you buy a budget brand then dealerships will charge you for what more premium marques roll up into the cost, it's one way of keeping the headline price down.

Audi charged £525 + VAT on last two cars. It was part of the total price.
    Invoice usually include:
    1.netto price of the car,
    2. delivery charge,
    3. VAT on 1 and 2
    4. cost of first registration VED.
    5. Total price including all the above.

Is that cost included in the overall price and just seen because it's been broken down on the invoice?
New cars are generally priced OTR (on the road) but on the invoice the total price is broken down, so the delivery is in the OTR price.

Either that or you've bought a car in stock at another dealers and they're charging you to have it shipped to theirs.

Just comparing Renault/Dacia's list price in brochures etc. with the actual price at the dealer.... Are they really saying it costs 600 pounds to move a car in bulk from Romania to their UK dealers? Don't think so...
I've just checked my invoice for my Clio I picked up in March.
I paid £537 for "delivery" (delivery, number plates, DVLA registration fee) and £225 for VED.
All this was in the advertised price, but it's broken down on the invoice.

When I bought the trade in, which was a Dacia Sandero Stepway I understood it wasn't in the screen price but in the OTR price.

These Dacia OTR prices have since risen, they are nearly £1000 these days but the dealer has been pretty honest and charged you the rate it was when they ordered it into stock.

Yep  in my case car list price + all accessories was £12,289  and OTR £13,019. DVLA registration was an additional item btw. Well that all makes sense now. Thanks!

Just another addon rip off charge. It's like going to ASDA and being charged at extra £20 at the checkout for delivery.

It's a very silly practice that serves the industry not the customer and  whose only function is to bamboozle and alienate me, the buyer.  Imho cars should be quoted as OTR with any extras the customer picks added to that.  As you point out much as any other product is sold. .. but what do I know?

I just dug out the invoice for my last car - £640 delivery... so I win!
It hadn't occured to me until now.  Why include that sum on the invoice if it isn't something you can get around?  It'd be like having "Seatbelts, £300" on there.
