Santander disappearing transaction

I looked at my account online on Wednesday 17 June and saw a D/D payment to Sky. Today, when checking, the payment has completely disappeared. I checked my D/D payments and this stated it was paid and the account balance is correct as if the amount if it did come out. I will be checking my sky account as well.

I have just published a similar thread moments before you 😊.

Someone has responded by saying I should complain and aim for £50 compensation!

Just hope its not a wheel coming off their online platform

Thanks Inspectorperez, I would added to your post but it was bad timing on my part. I have checked my Sky account and the payment was credited.

I had exactly the same problem this morning.

Initially, neither the app or the web version showed my transactions for 17-Jun. I did a "download transactions" to Excel and the 17th was showing fine.

About an hour later, the transaction was showing on the web version but still not on the app. Now it is showing correctly on both the app and web version.

All very odd!

My transactions for 17th were missing from the statement overview page last night however the available balance was correct and all statements appeared using the download option. I logged out and back in and they appeared initially and then disappeared again. Logging in and page rendering also seemed to be tediously slow. It almost seemed as if they were using some backup system to show transactions.

I think your last sentence could be spot on.
Noticed an alert this morning that site maintenance being carried out over the course of the weekend starting last night and between the hours of 11pm and 6am

The backup system has something against 17th June

There was a note in the app when I logged in this morning saying they were doing some upgrade work to the app over the weekend and some functions wouldn't be available, so that may be pertinent.  Maybe they're fixing something that recently broke.
