Which is the Best ISA account to open?

Hello, I wonder if anyone could help me. I have never had an Isa account before. Could anyone advise what is the best kind of one to open? I am looking for one that I could put money into like Premium Bonds and save money into. I would like to add money to this and be able to take out any if needed. I would also like to build interest onto this. I would prefer to open an account with a bank/ Building society that is local to me that is in my home town. The options to me are HSBC, Nationwide, Halifax, Natwest, Satander and Lloyds. Your help would be much appreciated.

are there no other building societies near where you live? you will be hard pressed indeed to get more than a splinter of interest from any of those that you mention.Voguegirl said:Hello, I wonder if anyone could help me. Is there a particular reason you want an ISA rather than a non-ISA savings account? As mentioned by d63, those options would generally be picked by someone who doesn't care about their interest rate. If that's you then it would make sense to choose based on convenience / personal preference and those are criteria only you can judge.
