The key is probably in a box somewhere from when I moved house.
I just think it's a bit excessive to expect the car to be in showroom condition for its age and mileage, don't get me wrong I've looked after it the best I can it's my car I wouldn't buy something I needed to use daily to just leave it to rot away. I've looked for cars the same model age and mileage+/- and none of them are perfect and I dont think anyone but a car that age and use would expect perfection surly?No-one is looking for "showroom condition" or "perfection", just some basics. As explained above, the lack of service history will significantly affect the resale value. The key may cost £200+ to replace.

What car is it? Is it one where the service history is recorded on a central database? Did you use a manufacturer franchise (dealer) for the servicing?0

The car is in good condition the scuff on the alloy is tiny, the scratch the the rear plastic is deep I did that when loading something to the boot
The car is a Mazda 6
I've had the services done by a local garage not a Mazda dealer
I'm going to search for the key0 -

I'm going to search for the keyThe local garage should hopefully still be able to give you a copy of the service paperwork. But you've already returned the car so I don't know how receptive moneyway will be to you sending on the key/paperwork, it'll almost certainly have gone straight to an auction.0 -
Well I've contacted the garage and they say the service reports are on an online database, he did say he will try and print them off for me.
I've contacted the finance company and they have said if I email the service over and post the key if I find it ASAP they will take it off the bill.
The alloy is less than 50 mm
The finance company have not received the report yet so can't do much about it yet but have said once they have it they will contact me to discuss everything0 -

Pretty much all leases and PCP require you to maintain the car to manufacturers schedule and that'll often include using geniune parts. I hope that you were saving a fair bit over main dealer servicing. The service due message on the dash means nothing. If Mazdas are anything like Ford you can reset the service due message merely iby turning on the ignition and holding down the accelerator and brake pedal for 30 seconds.

I've got my garage to print the service history out as the use Mazda's data base so should be fine.
The service light on the car as far as I know is reset by the garage but I don't know of it can be done by turning it on with the accelerator
The car was a HP not PCP and from the contract I have says nothing about services0
