Costco comes in at £41 including VAT..
Talked to the rep there and he says that if you dont mind unfiltered water then you can use it without changing the filters. He says its really more for the english market as scottish water isnt that bad and the filters will last up to 3 months here.0 -
Thanks everyone for the tips. Not sure I want one now. Thought they would be very economical. Not bothered about the boiling as I drink black tea/coffee so add cold water anyway.0

ohhhh the quick cup rules my tea word... fantastic gadget!! soo quick and easy and looks the part on your worktop too... also you can have cold filtered water at the press of a button if you wish.
as for the "it dosent boil the water" comments, the water that comes out very very hot and makes a perfect cuppa! and i am picky when it comes to tea
also re: the "running costs" the filters can be bought from ebay and they are very cheep, we had a kettle previous that used filters anyway, so no extra spend for us, also you can run it with out the filter if you wish.
if you have a costco card, they are doing them for £35 plus the VAT, also argos had them on offer around xmas time, not sure now tho, also ebay is worth a look for new items.0 -
got mine from john lewis with a £10 off code it was £45.00 then added filter then money off made the lter and quick cu £40 x0

We got one for christmas and I think its great so does my wife, They do spatter a little bit so be careful if you have little kids around but then it would be the same if your pouring water from a boiled kettle.
It also in my mind brings the water up to the perfect temperature for drinks. No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -
I had one for a crimbo pressie. I dont think it boils the water enough to make a decent cup of tea but its okay for coffee.0
