As above. I'm hoping it will show up here so I can then search for my old post!

You only have two posts, this and one in 2016.
If you wish to see your posts then click on the profile button somewhere in the top right (depends if you are on mobile or PC), then "View Profile" and then you have the choice of "Threads" or "Replies" on the left hand menu, threads are generally ones you have started, replies are where you have replied.

Thank you so much. I realise I posted on the wrong section. How do I delete this?

You can delete individual posts, but not the whole thread. Do not worry about it, without people commenting it will drop off the front page fairly quickly.
