Yesterday
Did not manage to get as much laundry as I wanted as I got lazy with it (also it wasn't as warm out as I'd hoped to dry it!)
Did another few cat visits and managed to get our Ocado shop checked out finally.
Yesterday was a NSD too!
Today
So just about to hang more out and put a towel wash on which will take a while.
Hoping to sew a bit more of my new jacket this evening.
Want to read a fair bit more of my book as I've been really lagging behind.
Cheap freezer dinner tonight to keep our food bills down.
Chased a payment for some cat sitting that I never received, hopefully they'll respond soon.
Not a NSD already sadly as I had to buy a new bike pump as mine's broken and I can't pump my tyres properly
Tomorrow
I've got to go to the dentist tomorrow and have a CAT scan to see about my wisdom tooth removal. I'm actually looking forward to the surgery because although I know it's going to hurt and swell up it'll be healing pain rather than what I have now which is just constant spikes of pain all the time. I cannot wait to have no more wisdom teeth (well except one! But that one seems fine for now). My Mum has been so nice and has offered to pay for the scan that isn't covered by my insurance. I only get £40 of "scans" covered per yeah and that is usually fine for general x-rays but I never envisioned needing a CAT scan! It's £150 so mum is giving me £110. I think she really wants me to buy a house!
The future
Wisdom tooth surgery will cost me another £40 which isn't bad at all, my insurance covers 80%. One day I'd like to have the full coverage. I really want to get my teeth sorted out (braces, whitening, the works) as I hate how they look.
Still waiting for approval from the clients about the website. As soon as I push it live I can invoice them.
Loads more cat bookings in September. All of it will be going towards the house fund as I've filled all my budget categories for everything else.1 -
Credit card statement came in. Officially below £2,000 balance on it. Will have it paid off by the end of January
Laundry in the machine, hopefully I can get the afternoon air on it and dry it out but will probably have to use the tumble dryer!2 -
Cat sitting money came in. Upped the house fund up another £50! From 10.7% to 10.8%, every little helps!1

Well done on hitting 10% on the house fund.
I've got to winter prep my garden in the next few weeks. I intended to do it last weekend but it chucked it down both days.Bottom line;

What a whirlwhind few days it's been.
After I posted on Tuesday night about having bad wisdom tooth pain it all went downhill. In the evening, I was completely unable to sleep from the pain. It was just getting worse and worse. First I was able to get stronger ibuprofen from the pharmacy which did absolutely nothing. I ended up taking a late night drive to the nearest 24hr pharmacy and got some Paramol (paracetemol + codeine) which did absolutely nothing. I called NHS 111 at about 1am and they were completely useless, instructed me to speak to my dentist the following day. The following day?! Are you mad?! Denplan emergency were a little bit better but still only suggested that they would call around on my behalf to get me an appointment as early in the day as possible (my own dentist appointment was booked for 2pm). I spent 6 hours pacing my living room smacking myself in the face repeatedly because it was the only way to distract my brain from the pain. Eventually at 7am it started to subside a little but only enough for 1.5hrs sleep. I woke up at 8:30 and had to start unravelling Denplan's attempts to book me an appointment as the pain was subsiding enough I knew I could get through to 2pm.
So at 2pm off I went for my CAT scan where he said... I'm going to take the top tooth out. Walked out of that appointment with unexpectedly one less tooth, and a completely numb face (such relief!). Unfortunately as soon as the anaesthetic wore off the lower tooth pain came back, plus the soreness of having my upper tooth pulled. I called up the dentist office again at 5:30 crying and they agreed that they could bump up my appointment to have the lower removed to just the day after, and leave me some strong prescription meds in a lockbox.
I was able to sleep thanks to the strong meds and off I went to get my SECOND tooth pulled in two days. I'm now without horrible wisdom teeth on one side! (In fact I only have one left on the other side). SO relieved. Turns out I had an abscess in the lower tooth that was causing so much jaw pain. Now all I have is the tenderness of having the teeth pulled but am mostly back to normal.
Sad thing is this all cost an awful lot of money... Denplan will pay me back 80% but I'll have to pull the rest from my emergency fund as I hadn't exactly planned for it all!1 -

I'm sorry you were in such pain. I have terrible teeth (really didn't look after them as a teenager/early 20s) and tooth pain is the absolute pits.
I had 2 paracetamol in 13 hours of labour but hands down the worst pain I've ever been in was when I had dry socket following a tooth extraction, was agony.
Sucks about the emergency fund but to be fair, that is what it's for and you clearly needed it!Bottom line;

Today
Back to trying to use my diary more often after several days without doing it!
I hung a load of laundry on the line overnight so the morning sun would dry it. Of course it wasn't due to rain and it then did! Must've been a light shower though as the clothes dried very quickly (normally after heavy rain they are sopping and pull the line down!)
Got a second load on the line right now which is dry, so need to get a third one through the machine to make best use of the evening sun we get on the deck.
Pasta bake for dinner, very looking forward to that.
One cat visit tonight. I got my bike back out and working so I'll cycle over - no fuel being used then!
Picked up my new set of dumbbells from Argos. They look pretty good. I haven't been able to use the work gym since beginning of lockdown and they were £30, I thought that was pretty reasonable.
Tomorrow
Work same as normal. Cheap dinner from the freezer is the plan (fish goujons and chips for me probably).
Rest of life same as normal. Still doing cat visits tomorrow. Trying to get the housework done etc.
The future
Hoping my Kilner jars arrive soon so I can start "canning" up my fresh chopped tomatoes for future use.
