Today
Same as usual. Laundry dries lovely overnight! I'm almost through my backlog.
Cheap dinner tonight. Something out of the freezer.
Got about halfway through my library book. Need to read lots more today as I need to return it soon.
Carried on with my latest sewing project. I had to redo the pocket three times. Third time and it looks OK so I'm happy with that.
Still doing cat visits at the moment by bicycle.
Got my Denplan money back for my first appointment (which was a few weeks ago and thus already paid off) so reshuffled it around including into our groceries budget to top it up and the rest to the house fund, so slight bump in house savings.
Paid off last mattress payment! I'm so happy. Been paying it off for 12 months on a zero finance thing. I'm glad we bought the new bed, don't regret paying it off. Our old bed was 15 years old hand-me-down from my boyfriend's parents with questionable dog pee stains! So the new mattress has been worth it completely.
Tomorrow
The dreaded day in the office. Really don't want to go. Don't understand why the government is saying "no more than 6 people in a house" but it's totally OK for me to go and mingle in the office? It's completely illogical. I understand the law is that way for businesses that are struggling, but we can work from home so there is no need. They want to put these days in every now and again to bring us all together but I just think given the new law came back in on Monday and the numbers are going back up, they should have cancelled our day in.
Also my boss wants me in by 10.15 which means I can't buy an off-peak ticket and have to pay an extra £10.
The future
Looking forward to payday as usual, picking more tomatoes from my plant to stew and store. Waiting for my next veggies to arrive to plant out.1 -

About 10.45am, so way too late sadly. However the upside is that I thought I'd need to buy another ticket this month for our second day in the office, but it's actually after payday so will come out of next month's budget. So I've got enough to cover the extra cost of the ticket.1

Just did my first workout with my new dumbbell set! It was just arms, but boy do they ache now! Wonder what I'll feel like tomorrow...
My aim is to do 3 weightlifting sessions a week. I used to do 2 at work, but 3 is easier at home. I did them out on my deck with headphones on and it was actually really nice. I'm a tad sweaty now (I enjoy weights because you don't get horribly sweaty) plus cos I'm at home the boyfriend is just going to have to put up with me being stinky until I shower before bed lol. I'm not showering twice a day!
Aim is to do arms one day, legs another day, and core on the third day.1 -

Unfortunately I tried, but seeing as my work day usually starts at 9am, 10.15am is already quite a compromise (in order to limit us having to be around lots of people on the train). His answer was basically "normally you'd be spending £300 a month to get in, so asking you to spend £70 this month isn't that bad".1

Would it maybe work to wrap up a snack/late breakfast and a book, get the earlier train in anyway and then sit somewhere nice for an hour or so before work starts?Bottom line;
£49k paid off
Car HP paid off
Debt Free!
Saved Escape fund and moved out.
Current focus; saving Emergency fund1 -
Well done on the weights sessions btw- I've got properly back into the gym since they reopened in August. Currently doing two early spin classes (6.30am!
) and a few evening dance questions each week.

Yesterday was exhausting! I can't believe I used to trek into London every day lol.
My jars arrived. Need to send BF to the supermarket this evening (we didn't manage to get an Ocado slot this week) and get some lemon juice so I can try "canning" my chopped tomatoes vs freezing them. Though I need to wait until my jar lifters arrive (should be delivered today by Amazon).
Got another cat booking for later this month and it's worth £100 and literally just around the corner from me so that's great.
Today I'm spending the morning doing a bit of housework before I start work later, and ten after 5:30 I'll be monitoring alllll evening (which means sewing whilst refreshing dasboards on the regular).1
