Billed incorrectly on wrong tariff need help please

Hi,
British gas have just billed for gas/electric on what I understand is there variable tariff approx 3.5p per unit for gas & 17p per unit for electric the issue is last October I did an online switch which should have meant unit rates of 2.5p for gas & 14p for electric but British gas have no record nor do I have any email confirmation from the online site where I did the switch I've mistakenly deleted it.
What I need is someone who knows what name would have applied to a British gas duel fuel tariff of 2.5p for gas/14p for electric last October 2019 because British gas have AGREED to backdate the bill if I can provide them with the correct tariff name despite the lack of proof I appreciate this is unusual I would love to hear from anyone who is familiar with above as approx £400 is at stake many thanks

I really cannot understand how its taken you nearly eight months to realise that you are on the wrong tariff - have you never checked your bills or on-line statements or made sure that meter readings (even if you have a smart meter) are being correctly applied.
Can't help with tariff info but hopefully it's been a bit of a wake-up to put a bit more effort to checking your bills and meter readings - done once a month you would have discovered it last November and got it sorted out thenNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
I’m having the same problems, offer was February this year, BG refuse to honour quote and it’s still ongoing, the complaints agent that was referred to me, is ignoring my calls. So at the moment I’m waiting for a response from cheap energy cub. As BG has put the blame at their door. I have screenshots of my quotes. So I have proof. If you switch via this sites energy club, you might be able to chase it up, via your account (tariff is listed), or contacting them via email. Have you done a Internet search on line?
