How long after valuation? Halifax

Applied in March this year, gave halifax everything and also our £200 fee, the house we want and have reserved, the seller is hassling me a lot since I switched jobs at the start of the year which affected applying. Now I have everything sorted with long pay slips and never been furlough either, everything is done and we've been waiting for the valuation which was apparently done yesterday!!!
How long until we hear if we're actually accepted and what would the next step be since everything is basically done I think.
Sorry it's my first post here and first mortgage.
Purchase price 222,500
Deposot 95,000

From experience, Halifax are usually quite quick to issue an offer after a successful valuation so I'd expect your broker to get something today or tomorrow latest. Having said that, these are odd times.
Next steps after the mortgage offer would be getting on with the conveyancing.0 -
I'm so exited!! I'm not using a broker and decided against it after having 2 bad experiences with them, because they where incompetent.
Because I'm doing it direct, should I ask my advisor at Halifax if anything has happened since?1 -
I've never not used a broker so don't know how it works direct. I would assume you just get an SMS or email notifying you of an offer when it's through? Is there a status tracker online or something?
Good luck, hope the offer comes through today or tomorrow!0 -
I have my evaluation with Halifax today. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time! I hope to get back from them today.0

I'm in the exact same situation, valuation was completed last Tuesday but not heard anything back yet. Our mortgage adviser said the valuation was fine but Halifax needed to assess a couple of other things to do with future value. Any idea what this could mean?0

I have called Halifax and they said the evaluation came back yesterday and everything is good on their side. I should ask my mortgage adviser for the offer. I don't understand why but L&C are being very slow in the process and I am doing all the chasing up!0

I agree, L&C and lenders are all being very slow. Had my valuation done on 15th June and report was sent to Barclays on 17th 4:00pm. They had five month payslips from me, affordability test fine, LTV <30%....I really don't know what else they are waiting for!1
