            Well, ask them for the size. 40 minutes could be a very large file if you are trying to upload the raw footage, rather than rendering it as mp4 or something.1

Right click on the file, and go to Properties. It will say the size in hereknightstyle said:I have asked before but she did not know how to see the size. I have passed on the links and she is going to look and try again.1 -

            Windows movie maker used to do all this brilliantly. Sadly they shelved it after Windows 7.0
