I notice it says balls only now on the advert. This has been added on the new advert it didn’t say that on my packaging, just said contents 1x ball launcher. So this is probably an updated website.davidmcn said:
It does at least specify the size of the balls.RodBod said:
Here is a link to similar product - the company I bought from has removed the original advert, this one is worded exactly the same. Perhaps this explains the product. https://topdealhunter.com/products/automatic-tennis-ball-launcher?variant=32284306505824&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIwpz78e2D6gIVkuvtCh0fOQ88EAQYASABEgJQ-PD_BwE

You actually have two options on this advert - there is a "button" to switch between the balls alone, or the actual launcher itself. Very expensive just for the balls, and no doubt they are assuming that most people wont notice what they are actually buying, assuming that they are buying the launcher as well.0

Another thread , and another warning. Never click on a Facebook advert and dont buy from a Chinese scammer1

Yes, I'm talking about a ball launcher AND a ball. That's why I said " included tennis ball". That's how cheap they are to buyRodBod said:
LOL My point being I bought a ball launcher NOT a tennis ball - Poundland sell a pack of three small tennis balls for .......£1 why on earth would I spend £15 on one ball and why pay £3 for postage. The advert showed a ball launcher for sale not a £0.50p ballI buy the ordinary sized ones for one of my dogs. Pay £1 included tennis ball from a supermarket . Never seen small sized ones, not sure how the momentum would work with those0 -
thanks for the link - what a shame for a legit company 🤬hopefully they get caught.Jsacker said:Might or might not help but I found this post on Facebook from a seemingly legitimate company (Fletchly):
Fetchly IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
We have been receiving complaints saying that customers had only received a ball without the launcher and they paid $20 for it. We are selling our launcher for $139.95. If you paid less than that, you probably bought it from another store pretending to be us. The production cost of the launcher itself is way more than $20. That said, it can't ever be sold at that price.
If you see facebook page advertising our launcher, copying our ads and pretending to be us, please send us a message with the link to the website. We have been reporting them as they are scamming customers and ruining our business.
We do hope to get your cooperation.
Thank you,
Team Fetchly.

I think wires are crossed here 🤪👍 this was a machine that launched the ball, perhaps you’re thinking of the plastic arm and ball 🤷♂️ Such a shame seems it’s a legitimate company being devastated by another company scamming people with their adverts. 👍hollydays said:

the company Fletchly above in the thread make legitimate product, but they’ve been suffering from fake ads on FB duplicating their product and video adverts .Hopefully this thread will stop someone else getting scammed 👍The_Rainmaker said:

Ah, I doubt you could buy one of these for this price. I have a friend who has one, she bought it from the USA, and paid quite a bit for it, maybe £100 plus0
