Tennis ball scam

Has anyone else suffered from this? I purchased a dog ball launcher for $22.98 inc. $5.99 postage. The item described itself as “drop the ball into the launcher and it propelled it 10,20,30 feet - hours of fun for your dog”
I recieved a cheap $1 tennis ball (full sized And not a small ball and impossible for a corgi to pick up - as advertised on video) anyway upshot after emails is that the company say I can get 50% refund or else I have to pay return postage of $20 to return the item. Totally scammed and PayPal refuse to refund. The company name is Dongguan Shunfa Logistics Co., Ltd and have multiple adverts via Facebook and Instagram all directing back to Dongguan Shunfa Logistics Co., Ltd
I’d be interested to hear if any help is available or someone can look into this scam (PayPal forum has nearly 500 complaints against this company in one thread alone)
thanks in advance

Are you in the USA? (You're pricing stuff in $US). This is a UK forum. If you have purchased from a Chinese site your purchase is probably subject to Chinese consumer protection and laws - if they have any...If you are in the US, does your state have some sort of consumer advice bureau?0

You need to brush up on US consumer law.0

re; I recieved a full size tennis ball so I kinda guess it was miss advertised, however you can get mini tennis balls as I have some for my Yorkie. It’s a heads up in case anyone else falls victim. Thanks for your very welcoming replies 🤨👌0 -
I buy the ordinary sized ones for one of my dogs. Pay £1 included tennis ball from a supermarket . Never seen small sized ones, not sure how the momentum would work with those0

LOL My point being I bought a ball launcher NOT a tennis ball - Poundland sell a pack of three small tennis balls for .......£1 why on earth would I spend £15 on one ball and why pay £3 for postage. The advert showed a ball launcher for sale not a £0.50p ballI buy the ordinary sized ones for one of my dogs. Pay £1 included tennis ball from a supermarket . Here is a link to similar product - the company I bought from has removed the original advert, this one is worded exactly the same. Perhaps this explains the product. https://topdealhunter.com/products/automatic-tennis-ball-launcher?variant=32284306505824&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIwpz78e2D6gIVkuvtCh0fOQ88EAQYASABEgJQ-PD_BwE0 -
It does at least specify the size of the balls.RodBod said:
