    Goin' daaaaahn...

    (Don't panic - not really...)

You've had the FPN money returned because you haven't complied with the conditions to accept it, so you've effectively refused it.

Have you looked at your licence online?

Why do we need to send our licence in these days?   Not like they write your points on it when it was the old green one.

    It's an anti-fraud check.

Is there a good reason it isn't in your wallet/purse, along with all your other important plastic...?

Do you not even have a note of your driver number anywhere safe, in case of... losing your card?

I suspect court papers have also been misplaced or sent to the wrong address, and you'll find points on your licence. Also, a demand for a fine and costs will catch up with you sooner or later.

So I presume DVLA have your correct current address...? No, thought not. THAT's why you aren't getting the paperwork.

Didn't we have a thread here recently where somebody was moaning that it was SOOOOOOO UNFAIR that his contactless payment phone app had thrown a fritz, he hadn't been able to pay for parking, and he REALLY shouldn't have to pay the parking ticket...?

Clue: If you're relying solely on your phone, rather than just viewing it as convenient backup, then you have far more faith in technology than I do - and I've been an IT techie for probably longer than you've been on the planet, at a wild guess, and was mucking about with phone-based data in the days when WAP was the only show in town... Please, take this as a big hint, and don't be so complacent...

BTW, who are you going to ring? Which court?
