Revolut

Can anyone help ? Are revolut in trouble ? I’ve been locked out of my account and can’t access my money at all - no one is talking to me and the app isn’t working.
It’s telling me there is an error it has been the case for a week now but I really need the money

I can access my account fine. Have you tried reinstalling the app?

My Revolut app and account is also working normally, completely new format with the recent update.

As suggested, uninstall and reinstall the app, sign in and it should work, although if you have actually been locked out of your account that will need to be resolved.
    Evolution, not revolution

I've had two phishing text saying I'm locked out of my revolut account, they were fake and they redirected me to a fake website, so beware.
  • Be very careful who you use as your main bank. Certain types of account providers who are gaining market share are particularly trigger happy with the freeze button.

What do you think caused them to block the account? Usually it's some abnormal activity that triggers it and the consequence of that is losing access to your funds. It could be for up to 2 weeks, then up to 8 weeks, then indefinitely.

Revolut are not even a bank , so I would definitely NOT use them as my main account. Not that this helps the OP in any way - all they can do is wait until Revolut have concluded their investigation.

I can access mine without issue. Have you tried sending them a direct message in twitter via their approved account? I did recently and got a response in minutes.

By some accounts they will need to be chased regularly in order to get the investigation done.

Sorry, I wasn’t questioning your point that they weren’t a bank. I assumed you meant to write that you definitely would not use them as you’re main account, rather than what you actually wrote.
