Hello
My car got scratched this morning. I saw this morning my neighbour had very little space back and front and I was wondering how they parked their in the first place. About hour later I saw their car gone and i initially I was impressed with their driving skills until I saw what they have done to my car. I havent seen them doing it but the scratch wasnt their yesterday and their car is white so same as paint left on my car. There was no note left or anything. Is it possible they havent realised this? I have never scratched the car so not sure if you know it or not. Also not sure what if anything I can do about it.

I would be calling as soon as they got back and pointing out corresponding scratches on their car. Then down to how good a relationship you have.
Do I need it or just want it.

..they are your neighbour and you don't know where they live..?? ..next to you?
..and that scratch does not look that deep so may well polish out fairly easily with the right stuff from Halfords?

They live about 10-15 doors down the road so yes I dont know them. What would be the right stuff from Halfords? Dont have any experience of buying this type of stuff.

When I had paint transfer on my car I used a Flash Magic Eraser Sponge to get rid of it, worked great :)

They do a wide range of polishes and it's a polish you require, from their own brand AG-TW they will all work, I don't fully agree with the view from the picture that it is just paint transfer however until you give it a polish which won't take long ( a few mins) then it will be much improved at least .

I wrote recently how innocent parties in car accidents could often have prevented it and how they deserve to have their insurance increased. This is a classic example. You spotted that your car was blocking the neighbour's in but just left it there? Couldn't you have moved it to give them enough space?

Obviously didnt read where the op said he was wondering how they parked their in the first place. To me that suggests he was already parked and the neighbour squeezed in.

Where does the OP say they had parked poorly? Who's to say that the OP could have even moved much - even if the thought had occurred?

Another classic example of putting 2+2 together and making 5.

There are over 57 million square miles of land on the planet. If you see that a neighbour is going to have problems getting out of their parking spot maybe you could move your car somewhere else where it is less likely to get bumped into.
