Until we can go into a clothes shop and try items on before buying, we are boycotting them. Clothes are so hit and miss at the best of times, you have to try them on; until we can shop as normal I see a lot of clothing businesses going out of business. Why stand in a long queue to go into a store, have to wander about in a line and not go back when you preferred something you saw earlier in the store; have to queue for ages to buy something you don't know it it fits; then have to go back again to stand in another long queue to get a refund? What is the point? Only businesses who benefit are online companies, our retail businesses will go to the wall.
My problem is shoes. I have problem feet and vary from 7.5 to 9.5 and need to try them on to start with then to see if they are comfy, need the next size etc. I always wear socks. If any place is asking customers not to try shoes on, then its pointless and taking my money elsewhere. I have even had two shoes of the same design, different colours and yet different sizes.

Got my first Sainsbury's delivery since February arriving today. Mostly organic meat (roasting joint, 2x rump, 2 x ribeye, 2 x mince) all vastly cheaper than Abel & Cole, Riverford and Waitrose.
I injured a foot on a march and it took ages to heal so I got into the Crocs habit. Soo comfy. I buy direct from Crocs, online. Haven't worn actual shoes, let alone sneakers in a couple of years.
I had a chazzer shop problem, buying books, so I have been spending less and using Kindle Unlimited more.
Husband had haircut yesterday and called into ASDA. Lots of empty shelves and very quiet.1 -
Things are going to be change just because of corona virus such as before this pandemic, we were easily visiting at shopping malls or supermarkets to fulfil our needs but now our life style take another way to live for the safety from corona virus. If we talk about grocery shopping then it is better to choose online grocery store services for home delivery but there where some people still go to local shops for it but if anyone can manage to order groceries online then it is ok in this environment. We have to compromise for the protection until the chapter of this corona virus not closed and it will be possible if we understand and practically done the safe things for the protection.0

Just received my Waitrose delivery and had a quick chat with the driver. I commented on how early he was (2 minutes before slot but I am, definitely, not complaining) and how early my email notification was from the picker (6 am). He said they have now got another van (3 instead of 2) and they are working longer hours delivering
Think home delivery is here to stay.

I am asthmatic and I do my weekly shop at Lidl. Problems will be not with the staff, is the customers that are in the store at the same time as me. Either giving dodgy looks or ask me where is my mask. Ordered wristbands - which came today and some badges with asthmatic on them. Also will be carrying all my inhalers - including my preventer and spacer. I can wear a covering or mask for a max of 15 mins at the moment as breathing isn't wonderful at the moment.
Would love to do online shopping but these are my problems:
. I live alone and most weeks I spend well less than the minimum spend (usually £40)
. When on those times when I do spend over £40, there's not the slots available for me at times I want - they seem to be when I am at work1 -
@od244051 I get food deliveries every 2 weeks. That should help with the minimum? Just need to plan food out so it lasts though.
When there are spaces then I book A slot for the next two weeks time (even before the current shop has arrived). Bookings can always be cancelled the day before, and you can update and amend them until the day before as well.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?1 -

My shopping habits have changed again. I have worked out a list of decent ASDA prices as essentials and Rollback offers, which husband will grab, masked and gloved once a month when he picks up my prescription. Using Morrisons delivery midweek for top-ups and offers around £25 but not every week. Doing Abel & Cole Monday and Riverford Friday but smaller orders. Ditched Iceland as a regular because not enough to do one, with so much Chinese farmed fish now.1
