Tedber said:Not sure of what the abbreviations mean but you would be able to claim for any flights Ryanair have cancelled. If they haven't cancelled them yet, then you need to wait and see. If they go ahead, then I think you will only have the option of getting on them? You could only claim for a cancelled flight. I am assuming this is not a linked holiday?
Yes, this is a linked holiday , so we fly to all of those places within 2 weeks. They've cancelled on leg which makes it difficult to complete the trip

Damage limitation then? If the flights go ahead and you are not prepared to find alternative routes to get you to the flight then I suspect there isn't much you can do other than hope they are all cancelled?damohonda said:The bus from Lviv to wawsaw is usually overnight and can take upto 10 hours. The train can take upto 16 hours. our flights were £30Some bus routes charge £38. Its just not feasable.0 -
Ooops didn't see this before I posted previous. If all linked then maybe you can claim but not totally sure t.b.h. Good luck anyway.damohonda said:0 -
I'm in a similar position to the OP in that I have booked a round trip with several airlines. All the other flights have been cancelled (different airlines) apart from the WizzAir flight from Chisinau (KIV) to Rome Ciampino (CIA). I've checked flightradar and these daily flights are running, so that it is unlikely that the flight will be cancelled.I'm assuming that I have no right to free re-book / refund from WizzAir if the flight is running. And from what i'm reading it isn't their problem that other flights have been cancelled so that I won't be in Chisinau on the day of the flight. But what is the likelihood that I will be able to claim on my travel insurance?Does the 'all but essential travel' guidance apply for those Britons currently in the UK? or does it apply to all Britons across the world? i.e. is the FCO advising me not to travel full stop or is it advising not to travel out of the UK (if that makes sense)?
Thanks in advance for any replies.0
