Bad signal/mast not working 4 weeks
Options
Hello, I need some help please!
I've been in touch with virgin mobile via text for 4 weeks regarding a mast awaiting repair . More recently my phone signal is very poor. I'm using my phone to work from home or using mobile data. However it is getting very frustrating and I've been back and forwards with Virgin Mobile . They say the mast is awaiting repair. I want to cancel my account with notice and avoid paying exit fee.
Thank you .

If it's a business contract (as you say you use it for work), you might have a get out depending on the type of contract.
If it's a standard consumer contract, then the odds are you're out of luck. The best you'll get is a refund on the time you're stuck with low signal.
It can take a while to fix masts as they tend to be on rented land and it can take a while to sort of access and the like.

Also worth pointing out that Virgin Mobile are an MVNO on EE, so they're in the hands of EE as network provider. It doesn't alter the answers thus far though - Virgin are primarily a consumer provider, they're not big in the business mobile market.0
