Is he a newish seller? All that has happened I imagine is that PayPal has held the money because he is selling something more expensive than usual, so they want to hold the money until they are sure he isn’t trying to defraud them.jetplane said:I bit the bullet and messaged seller to ask why and got a message straight back saying PayPal won’t pay him for 90 days. I have no idea why it would be held for 90 days though. maybe the seller wrongly thinks that, but in reality it's only held until the buyer leaves feedback, or more likely in this case as it's a phone surely it was sent using tracked delivery, in which case the funds should be released when it's delivered.
unless maybe this seller has a bad record and they hold the money for 90 days. if thats the case, it's not your problem.0
