On Friday I'm going full on for the launch of the Debt Not In Front of the Children campaign, and am launching a petiton against childrens TV ads showing secured debt adverts.
"We the undersigned believe debt adverts on childrens' television channels, especially for secured loans, are a disgrace and call on the TV channels responsible to immediately stop showing them."
I need your help to test this
The petition software is new, so we need to trial it on a stress test. Please would you go to
https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/not4kids
and sign up. However do not sign if you don't agree as any signatures now will be kept for the real thing. Also please don't forward this around yet, it isn't really public, I just want to test it with the people on the board.
Report your feedback (on the process not the campaign) if you can?
Also please let me know if the process (email verification) is easy, and works fine for you - was it easy, is more info needed Any glitches reported would be great.

The process was easy, and the email verification worked, but as a step parent I wondered if I still qualified.

Worked fine for me too. No problems at all. I'm not a parent but I can't stand those adverts - they definately need to be banned.

Worked fine for me too using Firefox and cable connection. Great campaign by the way. Martin, any chances of extending it to all day time channels?

No problems here either. 2 mins to click, fill in, send, receive and confirm if that. On Blueyonder (Telewest) Broadband.
Could not agree more with this campaign. These adverts apart from being dowright asnnoying are too influential in getting people in to debt.
