Virgin Mobile 20GB + 20GB Black Friday Offer 2017

Hi, does anyone remember Virgin Mobiles Offer for an Iphone 7 with 20GB (+additional 20GB Black Friday offer) around Nov 2017.  just spent 24 hours on a chat with them and got no sense out of them.

Was 18 for the phone and then 10 for data  - We had two phones from the same offer at the same time but they put the charges up to 23 for data a year into the contract.  Theirr eply was "Thank you for patiently waiting (Took 24 hours on a chat) , Richard. I have managed to check both account and I can confirm that you both started on same tariff which is £10/month with 20GB however, changes were made as we are doing price rise activity. Just to let you know that this changes are done randomly which means not all customers are affected at the same time."  is it really reasonable to raise a tariff by 130%.

You spent 24 hours on a chat relating to an offer from 2.5+ years ago? Really?

If this is a genuine post then I suspect a few more details could help.

it is a genuine post  - recent Covid events  - wife losing job with no government support and me taking a 10% pay cut made us look at our outgoings and get more control. whilst doing it noticed that these phones were being charged differently and that the price had soared and that they appeared to have reduced the data by 50%. Judge all you like but just want to know if anyone remembered the offer of iPhone 7 with 20GB and additional 20GB for free (Black Friday) in Nov 2017 as Virgin don't recall it.  It was a long time ago and I could be wrong but just wanted to check if anyone else remembered
