You took the dog on knowing about the problem so the charity  have no  liability for treatment.
Once you take on a dog you are responsible for any future costs.

Did you infer that you could not pay for treatment so the charity said thy would take the dog back in that case? that would be a  normal response from a rescue if  someone who rehomed a dog could not pay for medical treatment.

The fact that the dog was skin and bone does not necessarily reflect on the rescue. She may have been in that  condition when they acquired her and had not been there long enough to gain  weight.

I don't see what case you would have against the  charity for them saying to lie to an insurance company. What would  you expect to  gain from that?
You could report the fact to the trustees of the charity but you would need proof of what was said and who said it.
Sorry forgot to mention said rescue had this poor dog for over 2 years and she had has around 10 different adopters in the 2 years they have had her. I have been so many lies from this rescue that I have done some research and they seem to do this with designer breeds and they charge £170 adoption fee so on my baby alone they have had 10 fees of £170 each person as its non refundable. They aren't thinking about the welfare
French Bulldog Rescue charge 250-400 adoption fee.
if she has had the problem for 2 years what have the other 9 adopters done about it?

I think this is the first time you've mentioned this contract.
    What does it say?
