Payday means the start of my new monthly budget. I’ve paid another £400 off my CC and added another £10 into my locked pot.Only a small weekly food shop needed after some meal planning and prepping .
Here’s to a good week 🙌£9150 (Jan 2020)

I love paydays now .... mid-month I plan what I'm expecting to do.... then I check online to see what I'm getting .... then on payday it's full steam ahead transferring money to where it's assigned, a chunk into Starling then that's subdivided into the correct spaces .... I used to just bury my head and ignore EVERYTHING ! Now I'm in total control of my money, £900 in the EF, £570 in the Annuals space, even got £75 worth of Premium Bonds ! I check my accounts every day at least once, and still write down everything I spend money on and tick it off the budget, and then move money from the appropriate pot.

I love ticking off the direct debits once they’ve left my account.

Hi all
I haven’t posted in a long while. I have still been chipping away at my debt though. It’s now £3200!
Of that £1500 is still owed to me by my partner.
Now we are back in a lockdown I’m determined to get more sorting and selling of stuff to get that debt gone.
I am still checking my account frequently, using my budget tool and Monzo to keep me in control.
Hope you are all well.Happy New Year

Hello all
£15 from some eBay sales today. Another little chip out of that Boulder!
I was thinking that I was disappointed that I haven’t managed to get rid of my debt yet, but when I look at the amount it was last January I have to remind myself it’s huge progress.
A step forward is still a step in the right direction isn’t it? :-)
hope you all have a great day.£9150 (Jan 2020)

A few more little eBay sales and a small cash out from Quidco takes another £24 off of my lump. Slowly slowly. After a successful week last week of meal prepping, spent under £7 on bread/milk and vegetables, this week is going well too. I really feel like I’m on top of it all at the moment.£9150 (Jan 2020)
