Just after ideas on how to give it a bit of an overhaul to keep it at its best?
I have get rid of old videos, photos and saved emails. Any apps no longer used and of course a new cover and screen protector.
Anything esle I could be doing?

I'd say maybe save/backup anything important (texts etc) and completely reset the phone and only install what you need to try and it running smoothly.

This, a full wipe/ restore often helps. Apple swear by this (and it quite often works!).
