Hello can anyone help please my friend just lost his partner on 29th may he phoned virgin media to ask to get his partner of his account but they said as he was the account holder it couldn't be done but if he paid over £300 it would happen.is that right any help would be appreciated thanks john

If the account isn't in the name of the person that has passed away, yes they are correct. It would be the same as asking to end an account early.
All they can do is asked Virgin to offer some good will...
