Travel insurance - what does it still cover if you don't renew?

Travel insurance isn't just for the time you are a away on holiday, it also covers issues that may arise between making the booking and actually travelling. If something occurs between now and taking out insurance in October which means that you can't travel then you are snookered.Cash_Cow said:No its just that as we are not permitted to travel so it's pointless to pay for travel insurance. I've done the same with my dental cover - why pay it when you can't see a dentist? Similarly EL/PL insurance for the business when we are all furloughed and not permitted to operate. And SORN for a car you can't drive currently.
I'll need to check any Covid19 caveats when i do resurrect cover...
It's up to you if you want to take the risk.
