    The problem is that usually little used items are transferred to iCloud when space is needed but often I am without internet and need to store stuff and there is a lack of space.

    I'm sure Apple's operating system will have clean up tools.  Windows does.  Look through what is on your computer.  Use Google to search.
  • Ccleaner was hacked one time and some sort of malware was embedded in it, was then bought out by Avast, though I still use it and like it I don't have 100% the same trust in it.
