The problem is that usually little used items are transferred to iCloud when space is needed but often I am without internet and need to store stuff and there is a lack of space.0

I'm sure Apple's operating system will have clean up tools. Windows does. Look through what is on your computer. Use Google to search.

Ccleaner was hacked one time and some sort of malware was embedded in it, was then bought out by Avast, though I still use it and like it I don't have 100% the same trust in it.1
