Just received an invoice for something I bought 3 1/2 years ago, should I have to pay it?

thanks again for your assistance, except for @born_again you need to grow up!
I work in a cards team. So know that even a expired card can still be debited.
As you also knew you had the goods and were aware that you had not paid.
Perhaps, a honest person would have contacted the store and advised them, not ask a question 3 1/2 years later if they still need to pay.
They have 6 years to bill you....

How much are we talking about?
I know Domestos kills 99% of germs, but I'm worried about the 1% that got away.0 -
I cannot understand why someone even comes on a forum to ask if they should pay for something that they ordered, received, used and were happy with.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.3 -
Because they want people to tell them it's ok to steal the goods and to not feel guilty about doing so. If you don't say that, you get abuse because you have the morals they lack in life.peter_the_piper said:I cannot understand why someone even comes on a forum to ask if they should pay for something that they ordered, received, used and were happy with.3 -

Therefore there is no justification whatever in suggesting the OP is dishonest or has bad morals if he does not pay it.
After all if it is not on their system they might have trouble reconciling the payment

Yes, but when the OP started the thread, the company concerned hadn't stated this so the comments made were perfectly justified at the time.Jumblebumble said:The company have advised the OP to ignore the invoice

The OP appears to have known that the payment wasn't taken from their card:yet still didn't want to pay for the goods once they received the billandypm said:I bought something from an online toy shop 3 1/2 years and nothing appeared on my credit card.andypm said:Question still being though should I have to pay for something that long ago, due to an error on their side?0 -
True for people posting before 14 June at 6:16AM but some posters suggested the OP has no morals after it was stated that the company had given the advice to ignoreGeorge_Michael said:
