90+% of school runs can and should be done on bikes.

How on earth does that help the OP?rdr said:90+% of school runs can and should be done on bikes.
In addition, nobody knows that low mileage was a factor in this fault .. we don't even know what the fault is yet. People need to look at the name of this site once in a while.3 -
If you think about it and if you read AdrianC's later post, I think you'll find it is helpful when you come to considering your next purchase - especially if you know nothing about cars and think a Q7 is the best choice because it can seat a family of seven.tomcoleman said:seems this thread has gone way off topic......The posts about school runs and how to use a engine arent helpful. Im not a car person it was purchased because its massive space and ability to move a family of 7 around no issues.

If they did the school run on bikes, they'd likely save quite a lot of money...jbainbridge said:

..assume if the OP can afford an Audi Q7 just for the school run, saving money is not very high on their list of priorities!jbainbridge said:Mercdriver said:If they did the school run on bikes, they'd likely save quite a lot of money...

People need to look at the name of this site once in a while. If you look at the name of the site and take its purpose seriously, you would:- Not buy a massively oversized, overweight, overpowered, overengineered, hugely poluting, money pit to do the school run
- Not be sucked in to being upsold into even more toys
- Use a cost effective transport option that has the bonus of free exercise.

One crucial question that might be addressed is who owns this car on PCP and how much of this is their responsibility ?
If I were the OP I would be looking at their relationship with the finance company in all this0 -
They are posters opinions. You decide what is helpful / doable.tomcoleman said:see what i mean about posts on here...... some helpful some just plane strange.
