Help to Buy ISA. Payback?

Hello.
I have a question about my Help to Buy ISA. I currently save £200 a month and will eventually hit the maximum limit of £12000, gaining £3000 bonus.
A friend of mine mentioned today that he read about having to pay the money back (maybe more) when it comes to selling the house? Something about the fact they take a specific % of the house sale price? Is this true?

No he is incorrect, he is talking about the help to buy equity loan which you have to repay.

This is why it is always a very good idea to check the 'advice' friends give you before acting on it.
