Contents outside of contents insurance

hello,
I live with my partner in his family home. His parents live elsewhere currently. The parents have paid for the house and contents insurance but I own some jewellery which are not featured in the insurance. I would rather they didn’t know the value. Where would be the best site to get my jewellery insured? After looking initially, many quotes seem exceptionally high and a lot of brokers can only insure if I am insuring contents insurance also. Please help. Thanks.

My son & his partner live with me and their unspecified contents are covered in my policy (I checked with my provider) as they are part of my “family”. The Op & partners other possessions may be covered by OP’s partners parents policy.Thrugelmir said:How are you and your partner insuring your other contents? However I asked my Sons partner if she had any specific items of value per my policy Limits that needed to be covered before adding her to the policy.Sorry OP I don’t know how you insure individual items but check with your partner’s parents that your other contents are covered on their policy.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
