High Interest Accounts

Options
Hi All,
My mum is coming into some money soon and I  am looking for a high interest account (savings), that requires 2 signatures to access funds and ideally you have to request in advance ie 30 days (is this something that is out there?) Seems strange I know but this is to avoid spending while she decides on possibly an investment.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

Building society accounts can be set up as "two to sign" for withdrawals.

..if you accept that "high" currently means around 1% then the above links should help....and it's not a good idea to use what I assume is your real name as your user name?....IMHO

Not aware of any 30 day accounts - but they may exist.
Have a look at the info on notice accounts here:
    https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/savings-accounts-best-interest/#notice

As for two signatories - again you'd have to do a bit of research - most joint accounts - savings or current - allow access with just one signature.  And any with online access are accessible with one login.

And as for 'high interest'.  It doesn't exist, sorry!
Beware, btw, any ads you see online - via google, facebook etc - for 'high interest' as there lots of scams out there.  Most decent genuine deals are between 1% and 2%.
If it's more than 2% be wary - but those are largely regular savers and not want you need (see https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/best-regular-savings-accounts/).
If it's more than 3% don't believe it.

They do exist. Whether they are good value is a different question (TWTAIN). So is whether you can have any of them with 2 signatories for withdrawals.

    1) I would recommend you change your username to one that is unidentifiable - just for your own privacy and security really

    2) This account, if you apply joint and then set both needed to withdraw, may work for you https://www.saffronbs.co.uk/savings/limited-access-savings-accounts/30-day-notice-saver-issue-4-n2

3% so only ~0.15% behind instant access, good CS, online application, 30 day notice etc.

Thanks for pointing that out - I didn’t notice. Perhaps that spam post (now seems to be removed) bought it back towards the top? Idk
