Tuition fee query

I have read that most universities are not refunding tuition fees as they claim they are giving online lectures/ tutoring and support , however, my daughter’s first year ( at Leeds University) finished abruptly the week before 23rd march and she was told that she would now automatically be a 2nd year student. Since the course ended, she has had no online lectures, tutor sessions, assessments , exams or anything! Is there anything we can do?

Arguably the whole point of the first year is to qualify into the second year, which your daughter seems to have managed.
Tuition fees are paid for a student loan that most students never pay back, so she may not be out of pocket by this, as mad as that seems.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
