ITS BACK! Nokia 7600 For £2.99 / month from CPW

Edit: As of July 14th this phone now comes with 12 months FREE line rental (12 month contract) - so it works out comepltely free.

Plus Linemypocket are offering £20 cashback on all contracts purchased from CPW (usually £12), which gives you a nice profit and loads of free calls.

The Nokia 7600 is back at Carphone Warehouse for only £2.99 / month with 500 minutes and 100 texts - the texts alone are worth more than that! Its limited stock though so hurry...

Even if you do not need a new mobile you could use it to cut your home phone bill. Just pop it next to your landline and whenever you want to call a mobile use this instead.

Use one of the cashback sites linemypocket, greasypalm, rpoints etc and it knocks the price down to as little as £1.99 / month (£12 cashback at LMP, £11 at GP and Rpoints)

I saw the deal on linemypocket (not a referral):

Points to note:
REFURBISHED: 'These items are either ex-demonstration, trial or mail order returned. These are not flawed products. In fact, each one has been quality inspected and each comes with a full years warranty.'
£2.99 By CASHBACK: The £2.99 line rental is by cashback - you have to pay the full price and send off your bills to get the money refunded - but I think you can trust CPW a lot more than some of the mail order sites

To be honest, as a former 7600 owner, they are outclassed now by alot of other phones that can be had new (as opposed to refurbs) for the same price (i.e the D500).

Also, you can get these on PAYG for £60, so you would be better off getting one of the D500 deals, selling that for around £150-£200 (ebay rates), buying the 7600 on PAYG for £60 and ending up with a negative cost deal.

Sorry, I've made it clearer in my original post - that bits now in bold. I think you'll find that all the cheap line rental deals are by cashback these days though.

Still a great bargain provided you are willing to put the money upfront. I think you can trust CPW not to go bankrupt in the next 12 months - so there shouldn't be a problem getting the money back.

For the extra £12 cashback from Linemypocket or who ever - you get that in about 30-60 days so there's not much risk on that either
  • Oh come on, I hear this all the time and get really fed up with everyone moaning about how you have to wait for cashback, its about time someone says something about all this stupidity.

    Here's the options:

Pay money out, get nothing back.
Pay money out, get almost all of it back!

How can anyone complain that they have to wait, with normal deals you don't get your money back ever!

I was lucky enough to sign up to 3 of these contracts via e2save earlier in the year and have given one to my Fiance, kept one and left one at home, basically its reduced our phone bills from way over £100 a month to £0.00 (I managed to get on the £0.00 a month for 12 months on 12 month contract deal :D:D).

If you like, you can wait for the networks to reduce their line rental to £0.00, give you a free phone (worth about £60 back then), 500 anytime anynetwork minutes and 100 txt every month, 3 months free insurance, and a car kit (it ain't gonna happen!).

Sorry if I'm being abit harsh, it just really stirs my noodle when people complain about deals this great!

confused- surely net cost of contract on a D500 is in region of £200 ( phone worth say £200)

Net cost of deal above is £36 ( phone worth upto £60)

all the same - without hassle of selling high ticket item

PLUS loads more minutes on 3 ( but its on 3 !! )

Sorry, my mistake - I'd forgotten the D500 deals don't last the full term of the contract, whereas the 7600 one does appear to.

Just managed to order one of these by phone. I tried on the net but extra phones kept appearing in the basket that I hadnt clicked on and when I removed any f them everything else dissapeared too.

Anyway, how do I still claim the money from linemypocket if I have had to confirm the full order via the telephone? Or is it just tough luck?

    Cheers

    cpdp

p.s. The bloke on the phone said I had got the last one. Whether this is true or not I don't know but might explain the website problems.
