Faster Payments and Yorkshire Building Society

I know YBS uses Natwest's clearing to pay its transfers, and I also know any payments I make from my YBS account will take a day, but they should not be allowed to label it or call it 'faster payments'.  Can we not get this chnaged to shame them in to actually improving ?

Maybe check the Faster Payment scheme rules before posting?

Faster payment rules mean by the end of the next working day,
a lot of building societies operate like this, you set a payment and it gets batched out for payment next day

YBS are quite clear about payment timescales. They are within the parameters of the Payment Services Regulations, and not really different to many other Building Societies.  https://www.ybs.co.uk/help/payment-guidance/payments-from-my-account.html
