No switch to socket

    A 'plastic thing to prevent touching'? What? Are you saying the socket is damaged and has exposed live parts?


    I read it as being one of them plastic safety covers to stop kids putting their fingers in it.

    Then throw it away immediately. It is not a safety cover. It actually compromises several of the safety features already built into the socket.
