They arent rules. They are guidelines.  They arent going to get stopped at the airport because they dont live together 😅

The only guarantee is he won't be going anywhere without a passport.   So yes, he needs to apply and quickly.  Obviously the holiday may not go ahead anyway, but if it does he doesn't want to lose his money because he hasn't got a passport.   I just hope it is a straight forward renewal and not a first time application.

Thanks and yes it is a renewal so fingers crossed online application will be sent tonight.

Unless they are the only 2 people  travelling to Tenerife , they would be travelling with hundreds of people not from the same household !

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I am obviously aware they wont be the only two people travelling I was thinking more about if you cant be indoors with someone not from your household. BTW sarcasm doesn't suit you !!
