I managed to reattach mine with cable ties after it got crunched on a treestump and it held for a couple of years before failing off completely. A new one was about £25 on ebay.0

To the OP, I'd replace it - pipework in the engine bay on modern cars seems quite prone to rust, and having road spray (particularly in winter) battering it all won't help.
I wouldn't rush out to buy one, but I'd certainly look to having it replaced before the end of summer.0 -
They mention when I MOT my car that they cant see underneath the car because it has one of these fitted. It made me think there was something wrong with the car and I should get it removed0
