Brilliant - you got full costs - so £19 per hour in time, as well, adding up to 3 figures?

Which car park is this that the landowner authority is in the name Excel?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Nice one. Well done. 🥂

ANOTHER VCS ONE BITES THE DUST (or should that be EXCEL? 😂 ).
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    RoyalBlue82  .... Congratulations.
It was good that the judge understood that two entities were involved., guess he knew of the antics of Excel / VCS.
You mention the "cheek of the legal" regarding the forum.  The templates are a guide only, it is you who adapts them to suit your case, hence you put in the work and are due your costs.

Was the legal Elms Legal by chance ????? Clearly they did not google to find out about an entity and to say it was a sister company when making a claim is total tosh. Any good legal with a modicum of intelligence would know that ?

Well done, you zapped the Renshaw-Smith empire as many courts are doing now

It was DCB Legal who represented.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback and comments :-) I must admit I had no idea about Salomon vs Salomon either and was frantically googling it during the hearing, but it obviously rattled the DCB rep who couldn't provide the necessary response even after a 5 minute pause.

Does this mean that anyone who has a Court hearing for a ticket issued at the same car park could use a similar defence? Or will VCS just be more prepared now and provide evidence that they can act of behalf of Excel?

DCBL thanks .... so it's their car crash, great fun.

I think that would be a lot of work to change all their errors over the years. Signs, contracts and the desire to scam has opened them up to wide scale battering. Covid will be taken it's toll as well.

Your case can indeed be referenced.   Amazing though, a firm who think they are legals missed such a schoolboy error.
