Well done, hopefully I’ll get the same result.
I called Barclaycard yesterday. They denied receiving my documentation until 25th May. I quoted a secure message saying they received it on the 23rd of April. Apparently they are currently dealing with disputed transactions from the end of April so I should get a result soon.

I had a package booked, so covered by the Package Travel and Linked Travel Regulations, for mid April.  Issued a chargeback request in May; threatened to issue proceedings if no positive result through chargeback.  Contacted by escalation team by phone and full refund confirmed to be paid within 5-15 days (about 2 weeks ago).   Money received about a week ago.  A completely frustrating experience, but the refund was paid.

So the lastminute saga is neverending. Three weeks after Barclaycard refunded me the money in full, lastminute emailed me to say this:

Your refund is ready. However, for technical reasons, we are unable to credit it to the same payment method you used when booking, so we will refund you by bank transfer. To do so, we need your bank details.

What's the best course of action now? Ignore the email? As I got back the full amount £380 from Barclaycard?

Or give LM my bank acount details, then let LM transfer the money (minus their £30 fee) and then let LM claw back the full amount £380 from Barclaycard?

    Thanks.

Has the time limit expired for LM to challenge your award ?
If so I'd ignore them and let Barclaycard  battle it out !!
  • Can anyone help me out with the Lastminute CEO email address? I’m at my wits end with them trying to sort out flight refund for our cancelled Florida flights. They won’t even acknowledge that the flights are cancelled therefore I don’t think I can even claim on my credit card, despite virgin cancelling them back in May. I only know thing from seeing it on my virgin booking on the app.
