Notice pay deductions

Options
Hi I recently company I worked for went bust due to covid so had redundancy and just received my notice pay but was deducted jsa and universal credit which I had claimed the month before but this surely can’t be right as with being out of work that meant I was entitled to it and know because I received  notice pay and taxes on it I now can’t receive any universal for this month as it classed as taxable earnings. But here’s the part which I don’t get numerous people from my work have said they only had jsa deducted and not universal credit? Why is it so inconsistent? So people in same boat as me with kids and partner not working also, have not been deducted yet all mine been took back. So after paying cards off to pay bills last month nothing left as no payment this month. Please anyone explain
