Personal Independence Payment Professionals

Hello,
Sorry if there is an existing post. I couldn't see it when searched.

I am wondering if anyone has dealt with the above company/body?

They speciallise in PIP assessments and appeals.

Can you let me know your experiences with them. If their fees were reasonable, how much help they provided you and if anyone has had to go through to the tribunal with them.

I'm apprehensive as it they were recommended to me by someone I dont know on social media.

Thanks,

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking here. Professionals? do you mean paying someone to help you through a Tribunal for a benefit decision? If so then why would you want to pay someone when advice and support can be given for free.

    Hello, thanks for your reply.

Personal Independence Payment Professionals is a company that offers support in the administration, paperwork etc of a PIP claim and appeal drafting by a 'Legally trained draftsperson'.

Their website is (pipps . Co. Uk)

I'm basically looking for a review of their services.

Oh i see. I've never and will never pay anyone to represent me for any benefit claim because i think it's wrong that people charge for these services when it's available completely free. There's also plenty of information on the internet to read to at least have a little more understanding of what PIP is all about, the criteria and what the descriptors mean. Star here.https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-assessment-guide-for-assessment-providers/pip-assessment-guide-part-2-the-assessment-criteria
Put your postcode in here to see if there's anyone local to you for that free advice. https://advicelocal.uk/

Whatever that means - in my opinion you need someone that understands the PIP descriptors and how your day to day life is impacted in relation to them.

There are better services available and I certainly wouldn’t be paying when you can do it yourself or with the help of the free services.

Just saw this bit In their fees

"Mandatory Reconsideration for PIP and ESA £135 (we offer a reduced price if our legally qualified Expert attended your assessment with you)."

    Jeez

Agree with the others. You should be able to find a free local service to help

Guys, thank you all for the replies.
Just to let you know, the application in question was for my girlfriend and you all seem to have expressed the same issues & concerns I have.
We will proceed without their help.
    Thank you!
  • You can find a lot of good advice and download some very good guides from this website:
You have to be a member to download them which costs around £16.  I used them for both my ESA and PIP claims and found them very useful.
