  • I didn't decide to release funds from RS until mid-May which wasn't the best move as it turned out. They have a release request queue position indicator available now and there are currently over 15000 requests before mine. Oh dear.

Since they've started to show your position in the queue, for me I've moved up:
12 positions in the Max queue this week
137 positions in the 5 year queue
I've started to track this in my finances spreadsheet.
It's taken 8 weeks to clear the queue for 12 March Max requests, this is week 3 for 13 March requests.
5 year requests are now clearing at around 1 day per day and are up to 7 April.
If it's not adding up, compound it!

    My progress:
Access: 11069 Requests in front of you
5 Year: 478 Requests in front of you

5 Year really accelerated once March requests were churned out.
I thought it would take longer. I put my request on 26 April, 7th April is being processed, that's only 19 days worth away. Nearly there.

It looks like around 50% of my loans across Access and Max  have an end of contract within 12 months so I will continue to extract that out bit by bit. For the some  of rest I am currently position around 13,000 in the queue. That should reduce my total exposure by about 75%

Days seem to have whizzed by on the 5 year market this week.
If it keeps up the same pace, I should be repaid mid August.
Access and Max will take a year or so at this pace... 😕
If it's not adding up, compound it!

The whole pyramid selling scheme which this basically is using as a method to repay investors is starting to fall apart since the 10 year bull run came to a dramatic end. One hopes you all didn't put money in you couldn't afford to lose.

What? Bull run come to an end? Looking at equity indices doesn't appear so. In fact, both China and US indices are in massive gain year to gate, NASDAQ +16% year to gate so far, S&P500 is 0% so moved nowhere, and Shanghai Composite +5%. So, what "dramatic end" of a bull run, again please?

5 Year: 153 Requests in front of you

My last post on 18th July, I was respectively 11069th and 478th.
So I moved +67 places in Access and +325 in 5Year.
I am moving 7.44 places per day in Access and 36 places per day in 5Year.

I should reach my payout in:
Access: 4 years (I have only £39.87 there...)
    5Year: 4 days

    Yay!

I presume it's referring to P2P, not equities, since this thread is about Ratesetter.

Yeah maybe I misunderstood. To my sense, term bull run is (maybe mistakenly) reserved to equities and/or whole economy. Smaller markets can have a bubble, for example. But nevermind :)
