Total survey money earned this week - £12.09

I got home from work on my Friday to hear a rattling noise on my car......great!!!  I had to go to the tip on Saturday morning for 8.30 and I thought I'd nip to the garage after to make an appointment for this week if it was still making a noise, obviously hoping that it wasn't :smirk:  Well of course it was! I went to the garage and bless him, he looked straight away and found a loose heat shield so he fixed it there and then. And then he said no charge. I do love a freebie, who doesn't, but it took him 20 minutes, he had to do some welding, he was already busy with another car, on his own and I was quite aware that he had probably not earned as much as normal lately so I bunged him the cash in my purse which I think was about a tenner. And I was home for 9.30

Oh haha I wish I earned money going into shops. Sadly it was £8 spent on treats for the work drawer

I was working Monday and Tuesday, not a lot happened. I've been off today and I met my friend on a bench for my birthday breakfast. It was so nice to see someone, other than work colleagues, and it did me the world of good. I haven't seen anyone since before lockdown so it was a long time coming.

I had a guy look at my aerial too and that was sorted rather quickly. For nearly 3 years my tv hasn't picked up all the channels and I just put up with it, worrying it would cost too much to fix. Well now it's all fixed and I have more than a handful of channels to watch, which is great timing as I'm off the rest of the week

I was invited into a social bubble which was very exciting, my brother and sister-in-law took pity on me and invited me round for dinner. She's such a good cook so I ate very well. The cheesecake desert was delicious and I have another piece for tomorrow, even though I could probably eat it right now

I think I'm going to go grocery shopping tomorrow and then on Friday I'm meeting friends on zoom for a catch up and that's the week done, back to work on Monday......but another year older

Ah thank you Jan. The survey income can be a nice little earner, it helped me out no end when I was first starting to debt bust

Been a busy few days really between shopping, sorting out bits in my flat and a bit more decorating. I met a friend yesterday for a socially distanced breakfast on a bench. It started raining a bit but we sat it out and we were rewarded with sunshine, it was so nice just watching the world go by but now I'm a little bit sunburned.

I'm going to paint the last bit of my bedroom today and move the furniture back around, my bed has been shoved against the wall which makes it tricky to get out of when one of my cats sleeps on the duvet and pins me in bed

It's payday on Wednesday and I'm eagerly awaiting the money shuffle. Unfortunately it's a 5 week month until the July payday so I need to be extra strong and resist buying things I don't need. I've got quite a bit in the freezer so I need to eat some of that before buying fresh food.

I've got no plans for this week, other than work. I'd like to start deleting emails that I always think I'm going to come back and look at when I have time but I never do. I went through a while ago and unsubscribed but I still seem to get loads. Anyway, I appear to have nearly 4000 emails so I'd like to try and delete 200 a day. I've decluttered loads of physical stuff (still a lot to do) so I need to do digital stuff as well now.

    Have a great week

Your slow and steady approach with the decorating has shamed me into thinking about small projects I can do myself. So I will be starting the small bedroom next week. I can't write this on my own diary as I have said so many times and it isn't done!

4,000 unread emails!!! That is funny...

    Happy Birthday Muriel :)
